These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Credentials Portal ("Service"), operated by Credentials Portal ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Credentials Portal is a ministerial credentialing platform designed for church districts. It provides tools for managing minister profiles, tracking credentialing progress, conducting interviews, exchanging messages, and organizing ministry records.
The Service is available only to church districts and their authorized staff and ministers. Access is granted by a district administrator. You represent that:
We reserve the right to terminate access for any account that violates these Terms or is no longer authorized by the district.
Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for:
Do not share your authentication codes or magic links with anyone. Each link is single-use and intended only for you.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — managing ministerial credentials within your district. You agree not to:
Your district owns its data. We do not claim any ownership over the content, records, files, or information your district enters into the platform. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data your district submits.
District administrators may export, delete, or manage their district's data at any time through the Settings page. Upon account termination, we will make data available for export for a reasonable period upon request before deletion.
By uploading files or entering content into the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content solely as necessary to operate the platform for your district. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
You represent that you have the right to upload any files you submit and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights.
The Service offers an optional Google Sheets integration. When a district administrator enables this feature, data is transmitted to Google's services subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for how Google handles data once it leaves our platform.
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify district administrators of significant changes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOUR DISTRICT FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Credentials Portal from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or content you submit to the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
